New Consignors   ::     Previous Consignors

Sign up as a consignor with our online tagging system! Check out Consignor 101 for easy-to-follow, updated instructions on how to consign with CityKids. If you’ve consigned with us before, your consignor number and sign-in information is the same. The fee for signing up is just $10, to cover operating costs. You list your items at the price you want and at the end of the sale, receive 65% of your sales (75% if you volunteer for two shifts).

For complete details on how to list and tag your items go to: Consignor 101. A portion of the sale of your items goes to Lilypad, our brand new space at 1234 S. Broad Street with fun events for parents and kids in our community. Our buyers have told us they want more gear, and more items size 3T and up. Check your closets and make some cash!

As a consignor, you prepare your items for sale. You’ll need a computer to enter your items, a printer to print out your tags onto white card stock, hangers for clothes, ziploc bags, safety pins and scotch tape to securely attach your tags to your items. Then drop everything off to us Friday evening before the sale (make sure you schedule a drop-off time between 5:00pm–8:00pm), and we’ll take care of the rest! You do not need to be at the sale. You will receive your check and sellers report two weeks after the sale. Consignors checks will be mailed out about two weeks after the end of the sale. Make sure your address is correct in My Sale Manager.

We are offering a free Consignor 101 class the evening of September 14 from 7pm-8pm to help you learn the ropes and sell more of your items. Don’t be overwhelmed, sign up today! For details, or to sign up, click here.

Tagging Service for Consignors -SOLD OUT FOR FALL 2017

If you wish to consign, but need help, our tagging service is available to perform all set-up, pricing, tagging of your items and delivery of your items to the sale. Just want to get rid of your stuff? Donate directly to Lilypad. To donate your goods directly to the sale, email us. We will inventory and price everything for the sale and 100% of the proceeds will go to Lilypad. Your donation will go directly toward supporting community events at Lilypad. Donations are accepted year-round. Please contact us to set up a drop-off or pick-up time, or just bring your items to any playgroup and leave in our basement donation area! Clothes up to children’s age 12 and maternity; toys; books; baby gear; furniture accepted, must be in working condition.

Volunteer and Shop Early:
A community event like this relies on volunteers to make it happen. Anyone can volunteer: moms, dads, grandparents, moms-to-be, friends, neighbors. Consignors who volunteer for two shifts can earn 75% of their sales. Volunteers shop first too.

We need help with:

  • set up (Friday afternoon/evening)
  • inspecting and stocking items before the sale (Friday afternoon/evening)
  • posting signs outside on Saturday morning before the sale opens
  • helping customers during the sale (Saturday and Sunday)
  • breaking down and cleaning up when the sale is over on Sunday afternoon.

Morning, afternoon and evening shifts will be available. Shifts are three hours long. One shift gets you into the Volunteer pre-sale from TBD. More details at Volunteer 101. Sign up today: sign in to volunteer with your consignor #, or if you are a new CityKids Volunteer, sign up here.

CityKids Consignment Sale is pleased to partner with Mitzvah Circle, Nationalities Service Center, and Circle of Hope. All unsold items that have not been picked up by 5:00 pm Sunday of the sale will be donated to LilypadMitzvah Circle, Nationalities Service Center and Circle of Hope.

Who We Are:
CityKids Consignment Sale is inspired by the resale activity on the Kids South of Washington Google group (KSOW), which is managed by Lilypad, formerly known as South Philadelphia Parents Resource Center (SPPRC). This non-profit sale will help raise funds for Lilypad’s playspace, while giving families like yours a way to recycle those much needed kids items out of your overstuffed closets and into someone else’s! We are a group of moms who are volunteering our skills and talents to create this DIY sale to help support our community.
