Volunteer-run playspace and community event space

Lilypad, formerly known as South Philly Parents resource Center, is a grassroots organization dedicated to supporting parents from pre-natal through early childhood by giving them the knowledge and support they need to make informed decisions about childbirth, childcare, and education.

Our family-friendly community-building playspace, Lilypad is at 1234 S. Broad Street.

All are welcome to attend any of our playgroups; first visit free; thereafter membership is required ($100/year to attend unlimited playgroups). Our all-volunteer playgroups are unstructured times for kids to play and adults to relax, chat or play. Visit us on Facebook, for more.

Lilypad’s Board as of spring 2018 is comprised of six working volunteers. We meet monthly at Lilypad and are currently focusing on streamlining operations at Lilypad, and securing grants so that we can hire staff and offer more playgroups and family events.

We are always looking for additional volunteers and board members. If you are interested in helping expand Lilypad’s vision to serve South Philly families, please join us! Our email is LAND AT LILYPADPHILLY.ORG
